Scope

The Journal of Neurologic Physical Therapy (JNPT) is a feature pegged to dissemination of evidence-based research related to neurological physiotherapy intervention. The high quality standards are maintained through a rigorous process, double-blind, peer-review (peer review) and by adherence to standards recommended by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors. With an international editorial board composed of notable researchers and clinicians, the JNPT publishes articles of global relevance for examinations, assessment, prognosis, intervention and outcome in individuals with motor deficits due to neurological conditions. Through revisõessistemáticas, research articles, case studies and clinical perspectives, the JNPT promotes integration of the evidence to the theory, education, research and practice of neurological physiotherapy, abrangendoum continuum of Pathophysiology to social participation.

The Journal of Neurologic Physical Therapy (JNPT) is the leading peer-reviewed indexed resource for the advancement of neurological physiotherapy practice through the dissemination of definitive evidence, clinically relevant knowledge translation and the integration of theory, practice, education and research.

Company affiliations

JNPT is a quarterly publication of the Academy of Neurologic Physical Therapy and our sister society, the Brazilian Association of physiotherapy Neurofuncional (ABRAFIN). Prior to September 2003, the JNPT was known as Neurology Report. Previous editions of Neurology Report are available in the archives of Previous Issues.
